The Wonder of it All

It's a crazy mixed up wonderful world out there...and it only seems to be getting better!

With all the stuff swirling around us these days, it is sometimes the biggest challenge to just be still and do nothing. If you try doing this and are successful, you can get in touch with the great things in life that have always been with us and are not going away anytime soon.

I admit that if you expose yourself to some of the things "going on" in this world today, you might get the impression that things are falling apart fast. But have faith - that is not really the case because underneath that apparent craziness lies peace, contentment and all the other good things in life.

With people moving so fast these days (going where I do not know), it's rare to take time to enjoy the simple things that are around us. I really think that so much of what is "happening out there" is created by the "crisis team." After all, isn't it easier to control people when they are moving so fast they have no time to think things through? And isn't it also easier to control people when they are afraid? So much of what is "happening out there" can appear to be scary, but when looked at from a distance (detachment folks), these are just events happening in the world. And there is nothing to be scared about.

However, because of the message being pumped at us, we need to stay vigilant and counter that influence. So when people ask you how you are doing these days, just say "great," because YOU ARE GREAT.

Have a beautiful day.

Very timely and inspirational! We all have such busy lives (well I do anyway). How can we not “move so fast” – when there is so much to do and really so little time in a day to do it all in?

We are being brainwashed to believe that there is "not enough time," and the brainwashing is working well!

There is more than enough time, in fact time is limitless. It's all about perception.

I also agree with what you are saying, but it is almost impossible to breathe everyday with so much to do. Between working out every morning for an hour, working for 11-12 hours, commuting for 2-3 hours (round trip) and dinner/some family time (maybe 2 hours) – my day is already pushed over 16 hours. How in the world can it not be rushed?

If you feel so rushed, you might want to rethink the job you have, where you live, an acceptable commute, etc.

These adjustments are never easy, because we can get locked into a routine whether it's good for us or not.
